Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using TagCoPilot (“the service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. TagCoPilot.io is operated by TagCoPilot.io.

2. Description of the service

TagCoPilot provides website tracking and cookie-consent audits, AI-generated recommendations, and optional tools to update Google Tag Manager and Google Ads configurations. Read-only access is the default; any write or publish action requires you to explicitly enable write mode.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business you represent. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you use the service to manage client accounts, you confirm that you have permission to act on behalf of each client.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Scan or access websites you do not own or have permission to test.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs.
  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or access restrictions.
  • Violate any applicable law or third-party rights, including Google’s terms of service.

5. Google account connection

When you connect Google Tag Manager or Google Ads, you authorise TagCoPilot to access the specific accounts and containers you select, in line with the scopes you approve on the Google consent screen. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings or by disconnecting the integration in TagCoPilot.

6. Payments and subscriptions

TagCoPilot is currently free during early access. When paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing frequency, and refund terms will be shown before you subscribe. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

7. Your data and responsibility

You retain ownership of the data you submit. TagCoPilot processes it only to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with data protection laws, your website privacy policy, and any consent or cookie requirements that apply to your business. TagCoPilot does not guarantee legal compliance of your site.

8. AI-generated recommendations

Recommendations produced by TagCoPilot are generated automatically and should be reviewed by a qualified person before being applied. You are responsible for any changes published to your Google Tag Manager or Google Ads accounts.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TagCoPilot.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 if you have paid nothing.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, pose a security risk, or use the service unlawfully. You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
